The View; a Curious Cube

An ode to landscape architecture, where I spent much of time reading and admiring topographical maps, this interactive piece invites the visitor to curiosity. Within this seemingly simple box, is a sculpture of an abstract topographical map. When the visitor begins to look inside, the sensor activates the LEDs on the back wall of box, creating a looping therapeutic rainbow effect, inviting the visitor to take a moment from their days and enjoy the magic behind the mundane.
